4 stone loss for Angela!
Angela is no stranger to the world of dieting, she lost a lot of weight in the past so she knew that she could achieve a healthy body weight again if she put her mind to it.
The final motivation to begin dieting came from her increasingly painful joints. With a strenuous job that kept her very active Angela’s weight was leaving her in agony at the end of every working day.
“My knees really pained me. A friend of mine had already lost 3 stone on the programme; he said how easy it was so I decided I had nothing to lose (only weight).”
Her knees were not the sole reason for wanting to lose weight.
“Being overweight stopped me doing everything. My life almost came to a stand still. It was impossible to find nice clothes that suited me, beautiful clothes just aren't made for larger women.”
Angela registered for the online programme just 8 months ago and she has achieved an awesome 4 stone loss since weighing in at an all time high of 19 stone 12 lbs last October. She has dropped from a size 26 to a size 16 and she is still shedding the pounds.
Losing weight has turned her life around; she is more confident, happier and healthier than she has been for years.
“I find getting around much easier now and I coped better with the heat wave we had this summer.”
Angela really enjoyed the flexibility of following the meal plans and she raves about all that the site has to offer.
“I like everything about the diets. There is a plan for everyone and as I am sensitive to some foods, the Totals plan allows me to eat foods that I know are not going to make me feel unwell. I don’t even feel like I am following the meal plans. I also love getting the emails back after my weigh in, the encouragement I received all along the way was great.”
Before registering for the plans Angela yo-yoed between under eating and overeating. Her eating pattern was completely off-kilter and she needed to re-educate herself about healthy eating.
“I wasn’t eating enough food and had a very bad attitude to food. Once I realised food wasn’t as bad as I thought and began eating more, I was then able to think about a diet. I am much more aware of what I am eating now and I no longer have to gasp for breath now after eating the wrong foods.”
Looking at food as a friend rather than foe has been the biggest obstacle for Angela.
“I have learnt that no food is bad and that under eating is as bad as overeating.”
Angela refuses to take her weight loss for granted and she is still determined to continue striving to reach her ideal weight.
“I am confident that I will maintain my weight loss, but having lost it before and regaining it, you can never lose sight of how easy it is to slip back into bad habits!”
